Due to the new Corona virus (COVID-19) and its impact on society, we want to give a brief description of what we can and do at Hamngatan 27. Of course, we follow the development of the pandemic closely and follow the recommendations of the authorities.

Of course, we have further expanded our cleaning and hygiene practices. We provide disinfectant liquor in several places in the hotel and all staff have been trained on how to disinfect properly.

Our extension of cleaning and disinfection routines consists in that in addition to cleaning the rooms extra carefully, we also disinfect all surfaces thoroughly. The daily cleaning on several nights is done only at the request of the guest so that we do not need to be in the rooms unnecessarily. Of course, all public areas such as corridors, elevator and more are cleaned in the same way. All key cards are washed and disinfected and stored in the enclosed space.

We have so far reduced the breakfast to ready-made sandwich from our friends at the stone oven bakery, homemade musli with yogurt, boiled eggs, juice, small fruit packet, croissant and coffee or tea. We have packaged all foods well to reduce contact areas and touch. This has so far been well received by our guests who understand that we work in line with what the public health authority advocates regarding hygiene and safety.

In the lounge there is still the opportunity to brew a cup of coffee or tea and here too there is disinfection alcohol for everyone to use before doing this.
